Williams is a seasoned, bucolic folk artist along the likes of Ray Lamontagne, crossed with all the poetic feels of Bob Dylan’s early recordings, artfully bridging the gap between folk, blues, country, soul, and bluegrass with a timeless tinge.

Nicholas Williams, also known as Whetherman, is a seasoned, bucolic folk artist mixing the likes of Ray Lamontagne or Van Morrison with all the poetic feels of Bob Dylan’s early recordings, artfully bridging the gap between folk, blues, country, and soul with a timeless finish. Since 2007, Williams has released eight full length records of effervescent folk music, and shared his songs extensively throughout the US, Europe and the UK.
“Over the course of the last decade, Williams has been a student, immersed in the varied styles available in the American Roots songbook. This Land introduces the man who has staked out claim in its territory…” - The Alternate Root
