About The Artist
The Berlin-based trio is Bennet Cerven violin, Florian Eisenschmidt guitar, and Oliver Maguire percussion.
An enchanting violin is the voice of the trio accompanied by the groove of the cajón paired with a rhythmic guitar building the incomparable sound of the band.
Their music doesn't need words to convey stories or foster connections as it resonates across genres and cultures with visionary and accessible compositions.
The trio's aesthetic conjures the intrepid contemporary sounds of EDM, hip-hop, indie rock and stoner rock along with the disciplined traditions of classical, gypsy and jazz.
The band’s emotive, pan-cultural music functions as both personal memoir and a United Nations of sound.
The Trouble Notes - Lose Your Ties LP Release Show
Lose Your Ties is not only the tales of experience past, but the start of our new journey. As the main theme of the album it represents the band's story. Risking the safety of home and job to follow a passionate dream – experiencing new cultures (specifically their music), and enhancing their repertoire. While their specific dream is important, Lose Your Ties applies to everyone in a general sense. It’s about identifying what you want, then finding your obstacles, and setting yourself free from all that holds you back from living your dreams.
In the name of sacrifice and hope The Trouble Notes' Lose Your Ties Release Tour will serenade through Germany and ties together the last three years of travel and their individual development within their respective musical journeys.
Common passions replace old careers and connect the three musicians violinist Bennet Cerven, guitarist Florian Eisenshmidt and percussionist Oliver Maguire. Inspired by their encounters and new cultures their songs resemble a musical compass.
Together they conquer the world with their music.
„Music from everywhere for everyone“.
Through the art of storytelling, the group invites their audience to join them on a cultural and geographical expedition. The development of the travelling musician is not only audible, but omnipresent.
The great response of the audience and various online platforms in Germany, UK and France, result from the group’s ability to share their energy with their audience and fascinate them by breaking with musical traditions. Perhaps it is also their natural openness, that is extremely charming and enchanting. Everyone that joins the universe of The Trouble Notes remains a part of it, and often morph from a normal concertgoer into a true Troublemaker- sharing in the journey of the group.
