Come hear The Heavy Nothing play an acoustic performance of their same-titled LP "The Heavy Nothing" and much more at Opening Bell Coffee in the basement of the Historic South Side on Lamar building in the heart of the Cedars District, just south of Downtown Dallas. With special guests Jacob & Alice Zazz!!

The Heavy Nothing  is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas in 2001 by Matt Cesare (vocals, guitar) and Edison Chaney (drums, percussion). Since 2024, the band's lineup has consisted of Matt Cesare, Edison Chaney, Paul Garza (bass), and Jordan Hesse (guitar). Their music style fuses Romantic idealism with a new realism focusing on the realities of everyday life.  The Heavy Nothings' sound and style is rooted in rock, with woven melodic guitars, a distinctive rhythm section, and authentic lyrics and vocals.
