Riley Elizabeth is a native Michigander from the suburbs of Detroit. She has lived in Texas for the last 9 years and considers herself Texan since acquiring the use of “y’all” and relinquishing her former preference for “you guys.” You may know her as a singer/rhythm guitarist from her former group,The Blondettes. She also sang backup vocals on Leon Bridges album, “Coming Home.” She loves all soul music, regardless of genre, but has a sweet spot for singers and girl groups from the ‘50s and ‘60s such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and The Chiffons. She recently went out on her own musically, and hopes to continue writing and creating music with “soul.”
