About the event
MUSICIAN SIGN UP LINK Longest Running OPEN MIC in DFW! Musicians play in rotation based on sign up times. Sets are generally 2 songs, or 10 minutes depends on sign ups. Mainly Acoustic & Keyboards (please have your instruments tuned prior to your set) anything more requires approval prior to sign up. We prefer musicians with ORIGINAL material but will allow some covers. We are an "all ages" venue and do not allow backing tracks, hip hop, rap, bad language or discriminatory content. Always a fun time with some incredible talent. An Opening Bell tradition since 2005!
Host Alyssa Gillen
Alyssa Gillen is a DFW-based musician and artist. She has been involved in many various music projects ranging from singer-songwriter style to rock. She is currently in a band called BYWAY and also has a solo project. She had recently released an EP, "big world," which is inspired by her own coming of age story.
