Mitchell is a singer/songwriter from Dallas, TX. Most recently, he toured the country with his band Rio Star in celebration of their debut record, Heart & Soul. Over the last three years, he has written, recorded, and toured two albums alongside his band The Louisiana Purchase, as well as two solo records - First Date (EP) and In Search of Certainty. His music has been featured in various short films and theatre festivals. He has opened up for acts such as David Ryan Harris and Melissa Polinar and performed all over the country, both as a musician and an actor. With roots in rock, soul, and blues and branches into folk, jazz, and hip-hop, Mitchell's tree of musical experience and songwriting is constantly expanding and refining - simultaneously eclectic and specific. His music stirs up dance, laughter, and tears - sometimes all at once.
