About the event
A veteran of the Austin scene since 2001, Johnny Dango has released 3 albums of original music in the last 12 months, creating a confluence of country and rock, with a hefty sense of self-satire. His style ranges all of tornado alley--from the folky roots of his Stillwater, Oklahoma birthplace, to the Tulsa Sound, to the cosmic cowboy culture of Austin--and acoustic social critiques, intellectual southern rock, and psychedelic country have become Dango's musical trademarks
