John Dempsy is a singer/songwriter from the central Texas area. His career has spanned 15+ years now encompassing styles from classic country to outlaw country to blues and rock and roll. He is a multi-faceted talent, incorporating an array of stringed instruments as well as dabbling with piano and percussion. As well as being an extremely proficient writer and guitarist, he is also a very gifted studio engineer and producer. He will be the first to tell you "My ears are my greatest asset as a musician and my imagination is a close second. I could go blind any time but I need my ears." A strong resumé accompanies his musical gifts with appearances with songwriters like Jason Boland and Aaron Barker. Whatever musical style you enjoy, there's sure to be something in John Dempsy's repertoire that will strike a note with you, play on your emotions, make you laugh, and take you to the place he was when he wrote the songs.
