About the event

The Goffin & King Foundation is proud to present:

LOUISE GOFFIN, THERESE CURATOLO, and ASHAINE WHITE with a show of SONGS AND STORIES.

Singer-songwriter, recording artist, and producer, LOUISE GOFFIN has been making music since she was 8. With some very special songwriter friends, Therese Curatolo and Ashaine White, the audience will be taken on a transformational journey all about SONGS, their power, and what great songwriting can bring to our culture. An engaging and entertaining listening experience, promising the stories behind songs well known and how new ones are written.

Louise is a great storyteller and performer with a rarest treasure trove of stories and her music has been described as “alluring” with “jazz, blues, and chilled"-out California rock influences” and like her parents before her, “has mastered the art of songwriting” -CULTUREFLY

“A highly developed ear for a memorable turn of phrase and a knockout chord progression” - POP MATTERS

Currently producing and releasing singles from her 11th album, and working on a one-woman show, she earned a Grammy nomination for Carole King’s album, "A Holiday Carole” and is known by generations of loyal Gilmore Girls fans for singing on the opening theme.

ASHAINE WHITE is a rising star in the UK music scene, already nominated for an Ivors Academy Rising Star award, and a talent to watch. She takes inspiration from artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, D'Angelo, Radiohead, and Nirvana, and describes herself as a Grunge-Soul artist.

THERESE CURATOLO 's music has been described as retro-Americana reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, and Britain's Dodie. She's established herself as an artist on the rise singing alongside soul legends Stevie Wonder and Martha Reeves, touring the world with Scary Pockets, and just released a new EP called Ode To A Clown.

The trio appears as part of the Goffin & King Foundation's inaugural pop-up tour, showcasing attendees from their songwriting retreats.

Goffin is the founder of the GOFFIN-KING FOUNDATION, an educational registered 501 (c) (3) dedicated to empowering songwriters with a mission to honor and preserve the legacy, inspiration, and excellence of Gerry Goffin & Carole King’s songwriting. Louise also created, produces, and hosts Song Chronicles – a podcast featuring exclusive in-depth conversations about career-defining moments with songwriters, musicians, recording artists, as well as behind-the-scenes business executives.

This is a rare opportunity to see a unique show promising to be an engaging performance.
